Tara Ehnes

StudioT: Resources for the Reluctant Yogi

Tara is an RYT 500E yoga instructor and YACEP educator, a certified iRest Meditation instructor, and a Shiatsu-Anma/Chi Nei Tsang abdominal massage practitioner of 20+ years. Her heartfelt mission is to share accessible practices with those that thought they’d never roll out a yoga mat or pull up a meditation cushion. Because, ultimately, she’s a reluctant yogi, too.

Tara’s approach weaves practices from yoga, qigong, acupressure, and traditional Chinese medicine’s Five Element Theory. As an alignment geek and former high school biology teacher, Tara enjoys connecting traditional practices and modern scientific research. Each practice cultivates opportunities to find your personal pose or re-pose, to uncover a way of being with less physical stress, greater mobility, broader breath, and a more centered heart-mind. This “working in” is a way to unveil our connection to stillness and Being which is ever present but often forgotten.

Tara’s seminars, classes, and private sessions link themes to classic texts, seasonal elements, and everyday mishaps and misadventures where life’s lessons are truly revealed. Tara guides you toward creating a calm, pain-free container based on external and internal alignment. She aims to help you illuminate the truth of who you are so you can hear your deepest hearts desire and your call to action.

Amy Coulombe

Silver Girl Art

Based out of the Twin Cities, Amy is a lifelong learner whose artistic expression is fueled by curiosity and the desire for exploration. Her visual art ranges from detailed representational work to loose, intuitive abstract and impressionistic work using a wide array of mediums including soft pastels, oil pastels, alcohol inks, watercolor, gouache, oil, acrylics, oil and cold wax, charcoal, and mixed media. Her creative mission: a) remain open; b) play; c) let nature fuel her; d) give everything careful attention; e) be brave even when terrified; f) share her gifts generously; g) reveal even the not-so-pretty colors.

Amy currently has a work/display art studio within the Northrup King Building in N.E. Minneapolis where she regularly welcomes visits from the public. As a writer, past improvisor/performer, soccer player and coach, she loves leaning into play for the betterment of self and squad. Amy’s online presence can be found at silvergirlart.com and using the social handle @silvergirlart.
